4rd Part: Painting the gems and basing.

For gems, I started with black coat. For green stone, I use GW Dark Angel green and for red stone, I used GW Scab Red.

Highlighting green stone: Highlight with GW Snot Green - followed with GW Bilious Green and a dab of Vallejo Ivory for final highlight.

Highlighting red stone: Highlight with GW Blood Red - followed with GW Fiery Orange and a dab of Vallejo Ivory for final highlight.

I basecoated the base with Vallejo Burnt Umber and then lightly drybrushed a mix of Vallejo Light Brown and Iraqui Sand.

Then I painted the skull with Iraqui Sand, followed with Ivory.

For final touch, I glued Woodland Scenic Burnt Grass for static grass, drybrushed with Ivory.

Finished figure of Celtos Female Druid. I added a simple tattoo on her right leg – using blue wash. I skipped some WIP shots because I was rushing to meet the deadline and I’m afraid that this article has become too long <grin>. I hope I covered all the major thing when painting her and hopefully this workbench article can be useful for fellow painters.
